This policy analysis aims to assess the performance of the municipality of Pristina during the past term, based on a survey on public satisfaction with municipal services.

To do this, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies has conducted a survey through UBO Consulting among the residents of Pristina. The survey provides information on both the respondents’ personal characteristics and their perceptions. Unsurprisingly, the results show that there is a higher satisfaction with public transport and family medicine centers, and less with parking spaces, sidewalks and environmental protection. Also, most of the respondents are satisfied to some extent with the work and performance of the mayor, the municipal assembly and the administration of the municipality. The main problems identified are unemployment, road infrastructure and lack of economic development.

This analysis would enable decision-makers to understand the perceived performance of local institutions and plan and prioritize accordingly.
